National dishes at the “Konak” have no equal

Cetinje, 11 December-‘The Year of Good Food” campaign organized this year by the Tourist Organization of Montenegro and the Ministry of Tourism in cooperation with strategic partners and tourist economy, has been completed today and pronounced the most successful one. The rewards have been handed in to the owners of the facilities which have been the promoters of the campaign slogan “ May it do well to you!” “ The “Konak” of Cetinje has been pronounced the most successful promoter which, this year, has got numerous credits in home and foreign markets for national dishes (cuisine). More than a hundred private and hotel restaurants have been the partners in this campaign. An Expert Commission took part in creating the national manu while a special jury had a task to evaluate it. The Central Commission decided that one restaurant should be granted an award for the greatest contribution to the campaign “Year of Good Food”. That was the “Konak” restaurant of Cetinje-announced Vojin Vlahovic, Director of Tourist Organization at the tourist ceremony in Grand Hotel on Cetinje. The awards have been handed in today in the municipalities of Herceg Novi, Tivat, Ulcinj, Cetinje, Podgorica and Niksic as well as in the Sveti Stefan.
